Course Overview
The aim of the Business with Tourism course is designed to make a transition to a Level 6, 7 or 8 Business Tourism courses easier. The modules on this course have been selected with this in mind.
Past students have said “progression to NCI, DIT or DCU, was much smoother than expected as many of the modules are tailored to help students to adapt to Higher Education.”
Students on this course enjoy extra curricular activities and events, linked with some of their modules. These events are organised within the college and also outside activities. Students will have opportunities to develop skills such as teamwork, communications and time management.

Students this year progressed to NCI, DIT and Maynooth University with a small number opting to go straight into the workforce and succeeding in getting jobs.
A large proportion of students from this course use it as a progression route to NCI and the National College of Ireland.
Students are guaranteed entry if they get the minimum requirements for the course of their choice. Marino College also offers a Level 6 Business course.
Graduates from this course have skills necessary for employment in travel agencies, hotels, tourist offices, tourism attractions, museums, airport, business administration, finance, banking, insurance and the public service.
