Why students participate in this Course:

DCU, TU, NCI, Maynooth are colleges many of the business administration students wish to make progression to.

The subjects are designed to enhance and improve entry to third level university, as most of the subjects are a very good introduction to the subjects on a business administration degree syllabus. DCU was a popular choice this year as statistics was introduced to the course this year.

Students have said that this course has made transition and progression to university very smooth. Some students choose  progression straight into an administration job in business such as, the civil service, banks, insurance companies.

Careers and Opportunities 

Students progressed to NCI, DIT and Maynooth University. A small number opted to go straight into the workforce and succeeded in getting jobs in Human Resources, Marketing and Finance.

A large proportion of students from this course use it as a progression route to National College of Ireland (NCI) a state university.

Students are guaranteed entry if they get the minimum requirements for the course of their choice. Marino College of Further Education also offers two Level 6 courses; Marketing with Event Management and Health Service Management.

Graduates from this course have skills necessary for employment in business administration, finance, banking, insurance, public service, human resources, marketing and finance and many other businesses, including jobs in the nearby IFSC.
